| Undergraduate
Program
Completion
of the undergraduate program requires 124 semester hours of
coursework: 62 hours of
general education and support courses at an accredited college or
university of the student’s choice, and 62 hours of study in the
nursing major at the College of Nursing.
The 62 hours of pre-nursing courses required at the freshman and sophomore
years as a prerequisite to the nursing major include study in the
areas of the humanities, communication skills, social sciences,
natural sciences and mathematics.
These required courses build a solid foundation for the
nursing courses taken in the junior and senior years at the College.
