527 Advanced Pathophysiology of the Child and Family

Concepts of the normal physiology and pathologic mechanisms of disease are evaluated to serve as the foundation for clinical decision making and disease management for the newborn, child, women, and families. Analysis of the impact of diagnostics and assessment findings enables the student to develop diagnostic reasoning by interpreting changes in normal function that result in symptoms indicating illness.
