What is Financial Assistance?

Financial aid is a combination of scholarship, grants and loans obtained to assist a student in going to college. There are basically two types of financial assistance:

Scholarship/grants - if eligible a student does not have to pay this type of assistance back

Student Loan - assistance the student has to pay back after you graduate or are not enrolled in at least half time.
