THE NEED IS GREAT….SO ARE OUR DONORS

In these uncertain economic times, many organizations find their coffers shrinking.
Our college, however, has been blessed with dedicated individuals and business whose generosity is unmatched. Many are former students themselves who understand and appreciate the value of our nursing programs. Thanks to their support, scholarships are now offered to both new and current students. OUR STUDENTS VOICE THEIR GRATITUDE
“There is no greater feeling in life than to know that you have touched a person’s heart or soul, just by being compassionate. That is why I have chosen a nursing career…my sincerest gratitude for awarding me this scholarship.”
“This scholarship means so much to me. I chose Saint Francis College of Nursing because of its educational focus and the people…the instructors are so passionate about what they teach. There was really no other choice for me.”
“I am working my way through school and paying for it on my own…so I greatly appreciate any help. It will definitely be put to good use.”
“This scholarship will help me further my educational goals and to one day be able to support my family.”
“I have known a number of people who have graduated from Saint Francis and they speak so highly of the outstanding education they received. It is my hope to live up to---and continue----that legacy.”
“In these hard economic times, I struggle to attend school and care for my family…so every bit counts and is great appreciated!”
“It is evident that ever one at the College is there to guide and support us, not only as students, but outside of school as well. It is comforting to know that I have such a big support system behind me.

NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS….AND THE “RIPPLE EFFECT”
When we help one student we help the world.
Can one person truly make a difference? We believe so. At Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, we are passionately committed to the personal and professional development of each and every student.
Like a stone tossed in a still pond, there is a ripple effect. When we help a student today, he or she will care for many patients and touch many lives. Those patients will heal…and in turn, go on to help others throughout the world.
If you are interested in funding a scholarship, please know we would be delighted to welcome you to our Community of Caregivers. For more information, please contact Curt Leroy at curt.a.leroy@osfhealthcare.org or Jan Boundy at janice.f.boundy@osfhealthcare.org.
